Working on large scale, nationally important, sensitive projects which offer technical challenges and varied workload.
We are currently partnering with a pan-European engineering design consultancy who are actively looking to recruit a number of CAD Technicians, Document Controllers and Document Control Managers for their team at Aldermaston. You will be working as part of their large drawings department on large scale, nationally important and sensitive projects across a vast site. The site itself is one of the most secure and sensitive nuclear facilities in Europe with a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities carried out. Due to the nature of the site there is a huge variety of projects and buildings you will be working on giving you something different everyday to work on.
As part of the 7000 strong workforce you will work alongside the drawings team to deliver updated drawings and documentation along with working on refurbishment and new build projects. Due to the secure nature of the site; more details will be shared with you during interview. The role itself is fully site based.
We are very keen to speak to CAD technician with an electrical or mechanical background – preferably within building services design or similar. CAD is the only software package required – there is no need for Revit abilities. Current SC clearance is beneficial but can be applied for if you don’t hold it now or have held it previously (expired).
