About

Code Resources is a specialist recruitment firm, focused on finding people for built environment jobs in the United Kingdom.

You can’t be all things to all people – and we don’t try to. When Code Resources was established, our focus was clear. We wanted to provide great service, finding great people – and, to do that, we decided to specialise.

Highly focused

In our book, it’s better to be really excellent at a smaller number of things. So, we focus on just one market: built environment recruitment, in the United Kingdom.

This specialisation enables us to get to know this sector inside out. (We think that’s called walking the walk, as well as talking the talk.)

The best people aren’t looking for jobs

It would be a fair question to ask: in these days of cheap job boards and social media, what value can a recruitment company add? Well, the fact is, the best people just aren’t on the job market. They’re typically well looked after, in rewarding and stimulating roles at the top of their game. Even their CVs aren’t usually up-to-date. They’re not looking for work. Searching only within the open market limits a company to the quality of talent that it can find. That’s where we come in. We’re specialists in finding those excellent people; the best people; people who aren’t looking for work but might well be open to new opportunities.

We work closely with clients

Finding the right person starts with taking the right brief. We work closely with our clients, so that we fully understand what they're looking for. We spend time fact-finding, squeezing out the ‘grey areas’ and tightening the brief until we’re 100% sure of the kind of person our client is seeking. We work the way our clients want us to – with agreed levels of communications supporting an open, transparent approach to recruiting.
