Are you a talented Building Physicist looking to join a supportive, social, and forward-thinking consultancy? This is your chance to be part of a dynamic Building Services Engineering team working on diverse projects, from Commercial to Industrial and beyond.
The Role
As a Building Physicist, you will play a key role in optimising building performance, conducting sustainability analysis, and ensuring energy efficiency across a variety of projects. You will work with building envelope details, environmental simulations, and sustainable design concepts to drive high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop sustainable design concepts and simulations
· Analyse building efficiency under various design conditions
· Prepare detailed sustainability reports
· Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate optimised building systems
· Ensure compliance with BREEAM, UK regulations, and industry standards
The Ideal Candidate
· We are looking for a passionate and driven professional with:
· 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
· Advanced Excel skills & expertise in IES Virtual Environment
· Familiarity with CAD/BIM
· Low Carbon Energy Assessor accreditation (or working towards it)
· Strong understanding of building design processes & system interactions
· Excellent communication skills with strong report writing abilities
